Text color issues when compared to same fonts in Terminal

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem: 1.Open an iTerm window 2.Text settings are Consolas 14pt Bold text 3.Color settings are the same as Terminal
What happened: Color/brightness and sharpness are "better" on Terminal. Take a look especially at the '@' on the "plain" display and you'll see that the iTerm2 character is fuzzier and loses the space in the center (which shows correctly in Terminal)
What should have happened: Should be the same -- see screenshots
