Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Open iTerm
- ssh to a remote ubuntu 18.04 system
- type tmux -CC
- type cmd+d to split screen into two tabs
- sudo su in one tab and and send a broadcast message ie: wall test
the Iterm panes go away back to the control session and weird characters are displayed.
tmux -CC attach brings you back into the panes/session.
What should have happened:
"wall" messages should not break remote tmux session
