Thin stroke around window in latest versions
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: Build 3.3.0beta1
- OS version: Mojave 10.14.2
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Install latest beta in Mojave
- Set window to not use titlebar.
- Compare visible results.
Here is iTerm 3.2.7 (edit: using different example with more contrast)
What happened: visual results are degraded for users with a dark theme. I think it's common for users who select no titlebar to fill either half screen, or go full screen. The white border is even more apparent in these scenarios.
What should have happened: Since the user selected to hide the titlebar, I think it would be safe to assume they do not want a white stroke border around the window either. I realize this may be somewhat subjective, but it would be nice if we could hide, or change the color of this stroke.
** Caveat
If I enable transparency, and give the background even the slightest nudge towards transparent, the border goes away. I realize this also disables GPU rendering.
Thanks
