bash 5 installed through homebrew on high sierra throws error and fails from "Command" profile option

- iTerm2 version: 3.2.7
- OS version: macos High Sierra 10.13.6
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window)
- Attach a debug log, if possible.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Install iterm2 on high sierra
- Install bash 5 with homebrew
brew install bash
- Run bash 5 through
iTerm2->Preferences...Profiles->Command
What happened:
bash prompt will not start. iterm2 log attached. See line 6028:
if you manually run bash 5 from bash 3: $ /usr/local/bin/bash
then bash 5 will load.
6028 0000: /usr/local/bin/bash: /usr/local/bin/bash: cannot execute binary file.......... [hard]
What should have happened:
bash 5 should not throw an issue
