• iTerm2 version: 3.2.7

In earlier iTerm2 releases I remember having no prominent issues with use of Tabs inside of Hotkey Windows, and it was neat and very convenient. Now in 4th beta of 3.2.7 I saw new Tab would open up just another Hotkey Window "on top" of existent one. In freshly run 3.2.7 I don't observe it (yet) but the q-n remains valid — is there everything ready for such use-pattern at all? Won't Tab-instances have any quirks in regards of theirs simultaneous handling of Hotkey property-nature?

Also, I'd like to arise the subject of being Not notified about stable version readiness when a user has setting of beta-releases updates available notifications. It shouldn't work that way as it works now and I remember seeing some issue(s) in bug tracker about it already.

IOW: if there's more fresh release be it beta or stable but if it's fresher than currently installed, user should have been notified about it. Of course if beta channel isn't of interest only fresher stable releases should be considered legit, but otherwise, any fresher release should be announced.
