100% CPU Utilization

- OS version: macOS Sierra 10.12.6, on MBP Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Download iTerm 3.2.6 - this happened on my previous version as well, but I don't recall my old version number.
- Open iTerm - the issue starts immediately.
What happened: My 2015 MBP visually slows down. Activity monitor reports iTerm 2 and WindowServer both taking over 100% CPU. What's strange to me is that before this past weekend, everything was fine. Now, it's unusable. I did not change my settings.
What should have happened: Not take over 100% CPU
