Move focus to next window not working between Hotkey Window and standard window
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: 3.2.6
- OS version: 10.14.1 (18B75)
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window):
- Attach a debug log, if possible. Instructions at https://iterm2.com/debuglog:
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Assuming Hotkey Window is configured
- Open a standard iTerm window
- Show Hotkey Window using shortcut (Mine is
⌘ + esc
) - Attempt to move focus from Hotkey Window to standard iTerm window (Press
⌘ + `
)
What happened: Cursor does not change focus
What should have happened: Cursor should have moved from Hotkey Window to standard iTerm window (without hiding Hotkey Window). Pressing ⌘ + `
again should cycle focus across all iTerm windows including the Hotkey Window.
NOTE: It appears as though the Hotkey Window is excluded from the array of windows that are cycled using the move focus shortcut. For instance, if I have multiple standard windows and/or the iTerm Preferences window open, then the move focus shortcut works, but only between these windows. In other words, if these windows are opened along with the Hotkey Window, the move focus will cycle through them but will not focus the Hotkey Window.
