Crashing on wake from sleep with active (broken) SSH sessions
- iTerm2 version: 3.0.15
- OS version: 10.12.5
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Start with laptop; I'm using a 2015 Macbook Pro.
- Open 1+ SSH connections
- Close computer, leave network so SSH connections now cannot complete when terminal resumes
- Open laptop and log in.
iTerm2 immediately crashes on OS resume, with the dialog box showing at login.
What should have happened:
Nothing -- it should keep running and complain about a broken pipe.
I do a lot of sysadmin work on my local home network, then take my laptop to work. If I have SSH connections open at home, sometimes I just close the laptop when I'm done, then take the laptop into work in the morning. Opening the laptop at work then shows the crash, but only sometimes.
I attempted to get a debug log last night; I toggled debug log, opened four ssh sessions to local machines, closed the laptop, went to bed, came into work, opened laptop and iTerm2 crashed -- then when I went to toggle it again it said that I had now enabled debug log.
