Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Have 20-25 iterm2 windows open. After disconnecting external monitors, all iterm2 windows are beachballing. UI is sluggish.
Waited a few minutes, then force-killed it and restarted. Beachballed again. I took the attached sample.
Force-killed it again, told OS prompt to reopen windows. Beachballed again.
Force-killed it again, told OS prompt not to reopen windows. It opened two windows, with almost all the open sessions in tabs in one of them. It threw some warnings about "The already-running session was restored but it's contents were not saved", but otherwise loaded the running sessions just fine.
