iTerm slow performance - possibly just with split panes and xterm256?
By geni... on January 25, 2011 19:41 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open a window and split pane 3 times so that you have four equal quadrants
- Use xterm256 (not sure if this is required)
- Use iTerm for a little while
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect it to perform normally, somewhat like Terminal.app
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Alpha 16 - OS X 10.6.6
Please provide any additional information below.
I've attached some samples from Shark and from Sampler. Hopefully they're helpful!
