Two-finger up no longer scrolls up when ssh'd into a remote host?
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: 3.0.9
- OS version: 10.10.5 com.googlecode.iterm2.plist.buyLzfB
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window)
- Attach a debug log, if possible. Instructions at https://iterm2.com/debuglog
- Are you reporting a performance issue or a hang? Please attach a sample. Instructions at https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/wikis/HowToSample
- Are you reporting a crash? Please attach the crash log. Instructions at https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/wikis/crash-logs
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- I use two-finger drag up/down to scroll throughout all OSX applications.
- This used to happen in iTerm just fine.
- Recently (after upgrading to 3.0.9 in the last week or so?) I two-fingered up now scrolls through my bash history, leaving the window contents in place.
- It happens when I'm ssh'd into a remote (Ubuntu) host - works as expected/desired in native OSX terminal windows.
What happened:
two-finger up scrolls through bash history on remote host.
What should have happened:
Scroll through window contents
Any clues how what's happening? (I don't remember seeing this happen before...)
