iTerm2 v3.0.5 Cannot save SSH url handler in Prefs. Keeps launching Terminal.app

Just upgraded to 10.11.6

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Preferences->Profile->URL Schemes 2. Select ssh. 1st attempt is not check marked. 2nd attempt ask to make iTerm2 default for ssh handler and ssh is check marked. 3. Preferences->General->Load from file or dir. Set to ~/Library/Preferences 4. Clicked Save Current Setting to Folder

What happened: From an iTerm2 shell: Cmd+Click on ssh://my.host.com

Session is started in the default Mac Terminal.app

What should have happened: Expected session

Session should have started in a new tab with iTerm2
