Growl / Notification Center alerts and Dock icon badge
iTerm version: iTerm2 Build 3.0.0
OS version: OS X 10.11.5
—
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a new terminal
- Press [⌘] + [ I ]
- Enable Send Growl / Notification Center alerts on the Terminal tab
- Enter
sleep 3; printf '%b' '\e]1337;SetMark\a\a\e]9; Hello.\a Hello.'
into the terminal - Immediately [⌘] + [⇥ ] into another application
—
What happens:
- After 3 seconds the computer beeps and a notification pops up
- iTerm's Dock icon displays a badge reading
2
- Clicking onto the notification brings the terminal window to the front
—
What (imho) should happen:
- When there is a bell and one or more notification triggers on the same line, the Dock icon should show the number of notifcations only (but the computer should still beep and the terminal's tab should show a bell icon)
- When there is a mark and one or more notification triggers on the same line, clicking onto the notifications should (additionally to bringing the terminal's window to the front) behave like executing the Jump to Mark menu command
- Maybe clicking onto a notification should always highlight the line where the notification was triggered, no matter whether there is a mark or not
