Find previous/next search in opposite direction
Versions: OSX 10.11.4 (15E65), iTerm2 beta 2.9.20160313
Hitting CMD+G to search forward and SHIFT+CMD+G to search backwards do the opposite. CMD+G searches backwards and SHIFT+CMD+G searches forwards. Using the menu item directly has the same behavior as the keyboard shortcuts.
