ncurses applications still overwriting scrollback

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Issue similar to https://code.google.com/p/iterm2/issues/detail?id=324
- ncurses applications like vim/man etc are writing to scrollback buffer
- This messes up the scrollback buffer
What is the expected output?
Scrollback buffer should be clean.

What version of iTerm2 are you using?
Build 2.0.0.20141103
What OS version are you using?
OS X 10.10.1

The "Disable save/restore alternate screen" option is turned off.
Looks like this might be a regression of issue #324 (closed) ? It seems to reference bug#839, both of which have been marked fixed.
