"Reuse previous session's directory" looses env vars?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Enable "Reuse previous session's directory"
- Run 'boot2docker up'
- Run 'docker ps', should work
- create a new tab
- Run 'docker ps', doesn't work
What is the expected output?
docker should work in new tab
What do you see instead?
FATA[0000] Get http:///var/run/docker.sock/v1.16/containers/json: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: no such file or directory. Are you trying to connect to a TLS-enabled daemon without TLS?
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
Build 2.0.0.20141103
What OS version are you using?
10.10.2 (14C109)
Please provide any additional information below.
I believe the error I'm getting is because of "$(boot2docker shellinit)" in my bashrc not being run?
This works if i set "Working directory" to "Home directory" instead
