Mirrored tabs

Let's launch ITerm and open a new tab. Every input entered or output displayed appear in the two tabs. As a result, the tabs are exactly mirrored. I observe the same behavior with more tabs. I tried two shells: bash and zsh.
What's interesting is when I launch iTerm, tab1 says it's on ttys000. As soon as I open the second tab, tab1 now says it's on ttys001 like tab2. When I open a third tab, both tab1 and tab2 are flushed and declare being on ttys0002.
This bug appears on a freshly installed Mac OS X 10.9.5 and the latest stable release. I also try this build 2.9.20141010-nightly and it did not change anything.
My file system is case sensitive. (default is case insensitive).
