Should have a configuration option to control idle notification delay

I like iTerm2's support for notifications when a terminal session has gone idle. I use it to keep track of long compile jobs. Unfortunately, though, it generates a lot of spurious notifications because certain files take just long enough to compile to make iTerm2 think the session went idle. This generates a session idle notification followed by a new output notification in quick succession.
What I'd like is to be able to tweak the amount of time iTerm2 waits before sending a session idle notification.
Thanks!
