Issue with display of right to left characters in vim.
By sugarfrosted2... on May 27, 2014 06:41 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. Have iTerm using a font that supports the Hebrew block of Unicode.
- Open or write a text file with hebrew text in vim (type "vim <filename> -u NONE") (sample provided (sample.txt))
- Use the arrow keys to navigate through the text (or hjkl if you prefer)
- Note that the character under the cursor is on the opposite end of the word. Hitting 'x' deletes the character that appears under the cursor.
What is the expected output?
Vowel signs (the combining characters) should be below a non-combining character. And character under the cursor should be the one highlighted.
What do you see instead?
If a word ends with a hebrew letter and a combining character(vowel sign) it is left dangling. Character highlighted is as described in #3 (closed)
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
What OS version are you using?
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
