missing character when changing directory in SSH seesion

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- SSH to target machine
- type "cd /usr/local/" using tab completion
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: terminal outputs "cd /usr/local/"
shown: terminal outputs "cd /usr/loca "
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Build 1.0.0.20130622
OS X 10.8.4
