Hi,
Long term user of iTerm - and I think it's awesome - but I'm still
using the original iTerm build 0.9.6.20090920.1 (http://
iterm.sourceforge.net/files/iTerm_0.9.6.20090920.1.zip) for one reason
- superior font rendering (IMO) using anti-aliased Monaco. The
rendering in newer iTerms, (as well as Terminal.app) is simply not
nearly as good (looking at it, I can see why people tend to switch off
anti-aliasing). But the old rendering, before a change made to render
text faster, is a thing of beauty which I can't bear to give up.
The old rendering, which I think looks much better:

The newer not-so-good rendering: https://admackinpub.s3.amazonaws.com/public/new-rendering.png
AFAICT, the change took place in the old iTerm repository in revision
1824:

Anyone with me on this? Or it just me? If anyone else is interested
I"d like to request a reversal of the important parts of that patch
(I'm hoping that this isn't the change that fixes the 30% CPU usage I
often get while iTerm is idling...)
