- Install CMus `brew install cmus or compile it from the sources http://cmus.sourceforge.net/
- In cmus add your music folder typing :add ~/Music
- Then search something /red
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
iTerm is crashing. The Apple bundled terminal app don't crash. So it doesn't appear to be an issue with CMus, but who knows.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Build 1.0.0.20130319, on ML 10.8.2.
cmus 2.5
Please provide any additional information below.

I don't know what could be the issue, but I know my music collection have flac/mp3/mp4 and idtag with japanese chars (probably encoded in UTF-8)
Hope that helps identifiying the issue.
Cheers,
