Display of file content, triggers OS X command
By kvanr... on November 12, 2012 09:06 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Note: chopchop is the attached file. It was part of encrypted 7zip archive.
Commands that produce the issue
$ cat chopchop
$ gcat chopchop
$ tac chopchop
$ tail chopchop
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
You expect just the content of the file rolling over the screen. But a print dialog is triggered. Apparently some code in there breaks out and accesses the underlying OS commands.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTerm2: Build 1.0.0.20120326
System Version:OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)
Kernel Version: Darwin 12.2.0
