Make z-order value optional per profile

I use the “z-order” term because I’ve seen it mentioned in other issues. If I understand correctly, z-order means the Cmd+Tab order.
In any case, I need to say that I’ve always used the HotKey Profile. Before upgrading to Mountain Lion (from Snow Leopard), I would keep iTerm2 hidden unless I pressed the Shift+Command+X hotkey. The nice thing I had with that setup, was that iTerm2 would never come in front when switching applications.
Steps to reproduce the old (desirable) way:
- I have Safari, TextEdit, and iTerm2 (hidden) running.
- Safari is the application I’m using right now.
- Command+Tab to TextEdit.
- Press the magic hotkey to switch to iTerm2.
- Do something on iTerm2 and press the hotkey again to hide it.
- I’m back on TextEdit
- I press Command+Tab.
- I’m on Safari now, and happy ending.
Now, on Mountain Lion, step 7 will not send me to step 8, it will now give focus to iTerm2, without unhiding it, instead of switching back to Safari.
So, I don’t know if this z-order manipulation can be done in real-time, but if it is possible, it would be nice if it were an option per profile, that way visor-like profiles can be made to act the old, desirable way.
I hope I made myself clear, in any case, thanks for your excellent application and keep it up!
