ATTACH YOUR ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist FILE TO THIS
ISSUE!
Almost all issues are configuration-specific. Issues missing this file will
be closed.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Engage available system memory on computer running iTerm2 and leave only ~150 MB free.
- Attempt to scp a large file ~300 MB to the computer running iTerm2 from a remove Linux box.
- Watch it fail.
- Free memory on the computer running iTerm2 ~1 GB.
- Attempt scp again, only to have it fail.
- Hope this is reproduced.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After entering the password for the computer running iTerm2, instead of the transfer beginning, the message "Memory limit reached.... Begin random purge." is printed and the process immediately ends.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTerm2 1.0.0.20111020
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
Please provide any additional information below.
No reference of the phrase "begin random purge" can be found on Google. Thus I figure it isn't an ssh problem or a Mac OS problem, but iTerm2 failing to recognize system memory has been increased.
