This behavior is similar to TotalTerminal.Feature Complete 3.1https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/-/issues/3908Automatically expand hotkey profile on application focus [request]2016-05-19T03:15:29ZDerek FongAutomatically expand hotkey profile on application focus [request]I would like iTerm2 to automatically expand the window defined by the hotkey profile whenever iTerm2 becomes the foreground application and when there are no other terminal windows open. Similarly, when focus is lost (e.g., when clicking off the application, Command-Tab, etc.), automatically close the "visored" window. This should be a preference so people have the option to use this behaviour or not.
This would enable me to use Command-Tab to swap between iTerm2 and another app, and have the term window automatically drop down when iTerm2 becomes the foreground app. As it stands now, I can use Control-` to toggle the visor but I have to remember to use it instead of Command-Tab when frequently swapping between two apps.

*What steps will reproduce the problem?*
1. In preferences, enable hotkey window
2. Open hotkey window using the chosen KB shortcut
3. Cmd+Tab to another application
4. Cmd+Tab back to iTerm
*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?*
Expected: iTerm hotkey window opens
Actual: iTerm application activates (menubar shows active application is iTerm) but no window opens
*What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?*
iTerm 2 build 1.0.0.20130624 on MacOS 10.9 Mavericks DP7 (same issue present using MacOS 10.8.4 Mountain Lion).
*Please provide any additional information below.*
Clicking the dock icon doesn't open the existing hotkey window either.
Preference "closing hotkey window may switch spaces" doesn't changes this behavior
