The original issue was 1909
The fix was some changes to the third part PSMTabBarControl code which might have been updated at some point without porting the fix (I'm just guessing).
This would be a great feature to have back.

Hi,
I recently made an experimental monospaced programming font with (monospaced) ligature glyphs and opentype substitution features. While a terminal doesn't usually need ligatures, I really feel that in this case they do add value for many people.
<b>What steps will reproduce the problem?</b>
1. Download the Hasklig font: https://github.com/i-tu/Hasklig/releases/download/v0.2/Hasklig_0.2.zip

The "w3m" text based web browser has a fairly recently added feature to render images directly in the terminal. Ranger, a visual text manager, utilises it among other tools. From it's man page:
"PREVIEWS
[..] Independently of the preview script, there is a feature to preview images by drawing them directly into the terminal. This does not work over ssh, requires certain
terminals (tested on "xterm" and "urxvt") and is incompatible with tmux, although it works with screen.
To enable this feature, install the program "w3m" and set the option "preview_images" to true.
"
The current iterm2 builds does not seem to support it. Attaching two screenshots for comparison #1) w3m over iterm2 #2) w3m over rxvt

Is it possible to have an option to have a titlebar-less terminal window?
Otherwise could someone provide me with some insight into compiling m own version without one?
I'm not experienced in xcode at all but i managed to figure out how to add apples CustomWindow.h and CustomWindow.m to a project and set the class of a .xib window to "CustomWindow" but it doesn't appear the actual terminal window uses a .xib, how would I go about doing this?

It would be nice if iTerm2 bundled a copy of its modified tmux, probably with a slightly modified name like tmux-iterm2 or something like that. Installing it externally is a bit of a pain, and from the perspective of keeping the two codebases in sync I think bundling would make things easier.
I guess it might be tricky because the modified tmux wouldn't be in the path, but iterm2 could maybe ask to move it into the right location the first time it's run.
In any case, hopefully this issue is soon to be moot -- are the tmux modifications going upstream?https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/-/issues/1626Blinking background for visual bell (like the built-in Terminal)2015-04-29T03:26:08ZGeorge NachmanBlinking background for visual bell (like the built-in Terminal)*By janusz.bo\.\.\. on December 02, 2011 11:08 (imported from Google Code)*

Hi,
this is my first message here and my first attempt to help you guys out. I've created a small patch that replaces the image based visual bell with a flashing background. I'd love to have this feature in iTerm.
It's a very naive solution since I'm not completely familiar with how the project is laid out. If you point me to what should be done to completely remove the bell image from the source I'll be more than happy to do it.
Thanks,
Janusz

Hello,
Is it possible to add an option to replace on the fly
UTF8 non-breaking space (0xC2 : <ALT>+ <Space>)
with a normal space (0x20 : <Space>) ?
Step to reproduce :
1. Configure iterm2 to be in UTF8 (the default)
2. Connect on a server like a Linux Debian Squeeze
3. vim test.txt
4. :set encoding
5. Verify the encoding is encoding=utf-8 (Default on Squeeze)
6. <ALT>+<SPACE>
7. :wq
8. Configure iterm2 to be in Western (ISO Latin 9)
9. vim test.txt
10. You will see  (strange A instead of Non-breaking space)
Of course this is normal as this UTF8 character cannot be displayed correctly on Latin 9
but from time to time after typing "#" (<ALT>+<3> on QWERTZ Swiss French keyboard)
I continue pressing <ALT> while pressing space <Space> and I have an "invisible"
(for me on UTF8) non-breaking space but my colleagues (using ISO Latin 9 on Kitty/Putty)
don't see the non-breaking space but Â.
As a workaround I created <ALT>Space Key Combination and Asction Send: " "
