Sometimes, some other programs cannot get focus after resume, when iTerm hotkey window is running
- iTerm2 version: 3.4.0beta6, 3.3.12
- OS version: 10.14.6
- Attach ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here (drag-drop from finder into this window) com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
- Attach a debug log, if possible. Instructions at https://iterm2.com/debuglog
Not sure what is the right moment to start the logging. Will try to enable it in the night and see what I get in the morning.
- Attach a screen capture video if it would make the reproduction steps clearer.
Will do next time it reproduces.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Have iTerm hotkey window running on a MacBook.
- Start a Google Chrome and/or Slack.
- Disconnect the power. Let it go to suspend (I do it overnight). Connect power and resume.
- Try to focus Slack or Chrome windows with Cmd-Tab or with mouse clicks.
What happened: These apps are completely unresponsive.
What should have happened: These windows work as intended.
If I quit iTerm at this moment, they become responsive again. It started when I updated to 3.3.12 (not necessarily as a result of). Testing 3.3.11 now. I have an external monitor as a primary display, this may have something to do with the effect.
