"Ignore" in keyboard shortcuts not working to ignore Command-K
- iTerm2 version: Build 3.4.0beta3
- OS version: Mojave 10.14.6 (18G6020)
- Attach com.googlecode.iterm2.plist here: com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
- Attach a debug log, if possible. Not necessary? Let me know.
- Attach a screen capture video if it would make the reproduction steps clearer. Let me know if it would help.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- iTerm 2 > Preferences > Keys > "+" to add binding
- Map ⌘k (Command-K) to "Ignore"
- Close preferences
- Type some stuff in your window
- Press command K
What happened:
It cleared your screen and scrollback buffer
What should have happened:
Nothing.
This worked in older builds but has broken now. (Not sure how recently.) I use Mod-K to do up-arrow on my UHK keyboard, so I keep command-K neutered so it doesn't do damage when I get my modifier keys mixed up. Today I noticed that a mis-pressed command-K deleted my scrollback.
PS I'd be fine for some other way to remove the keyboard shortcut from the command too, it doesn't need to be part of Key Mapping for me to be happy.
