CPU usage constant around 40% when idle

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Running iTerm2 idle with several tabs open.

What happened: CPU usage is constantly in the 40% range. Not sure if this is expected based on my usage.

What should have happened: Lower CPU usage.
