tmux integration 'with automatically bury the tmux client session after connection' should create the new window at the same position/size as the old one
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Ensure "Automatically bury the tmux client session after connecting" is enabled
- ssh myhost
- Move your window where you want it to be and size it correcty
- tmux -cc
After running tmux -cc, that window is buried and a new iterm2 window is created that wraps around the tmux control process. This new window is located at a random place and size and can be hard to find.
What should have happened:
Ideally -- the new window would have the same spatial location and size as the buried one, so I could easily find it.
I use this feature with heroku via
heroku run tmux -cc which spins up a dyno and then launches the tmux server inside it. It takes awhile for the dyno to spin up so I would like to position my window where I'm expecting to eventually interact with it it -- but there's no way AFAIKT to do this because once the tmux -CC server starts and the client session is buried, the new iterm2 window that wraps the tmux control process is randomly located/sized.
