- Attach a debug log, if possible. Instructions at debuglog.txt
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Open iTerm2
- run vim
- Note the lack of icon
What happened: I was using my friend's Mac a few days ago and noticed something really cool! The icon in the menubar would change depending which app or folder they were in. For example, if they opened vim in their home folder, the icon would change from the home icon to the vim icon. Now, I have different icons depending on folder I'm in (e.g. ~ or Downloads), but do not have custom icons for each app. So when I open vim in a folder, it will just show the folder. I've tried googling it and enabled all the suggested settings to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
What should have happened: Show vim icon when running vim
