When full screen, mouse cannot move to adjacent Synergy screen

I use Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/) to sync my mouse and keyboard over 2 Macs. When iterm2 is fullscreen (centre monitor) the cursor will happily go to my secondary monitor (right, driven from the same machine), but will not traverse the Synergy boundary to the third monitor (left -driven by the other computer). In normal use the mouse sails between all three seamlessly.
