iTerm can't open after being upgraded from the app

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Have a prior version of iTerm
- When it prompts you to upgrade, accept
- Try to open iTerm again.
What happened: You get a dialog saying iTerm cannot be opened. Screenshot of possibly relevant system logs
What should have happened: iTerm opens
