vim redraw issue
By b...@atmaildot.com on September 23, 2012 17:26 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- With the following minimal .vimrc:
$ echo ~/.vimrc
set nocompatible
set lazyredraw
- start vim with an existing file:
$ vim example.c
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cursor position should be at the top left corner. Instead, 75% of the time the cursor is displayed in the bottom right corner. When I press any key, Vim redraws the screen properly with the cursor at the correct position.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iterm2: 1.0.0.20120203
OS X: 10.7.5
Vim: 7.3.661 (buit with macports with +huge option)
Please provide any additional information below.
I have also observed this same bug with Apple Terminal, but not with xterm under X11.
