Two-finger swipe does not select adjacent tab

The Help pages say:
"A three-finger swipe left or right on a trackpad (if configured to "navigate") will select an adjacent tab."
However, in Lion, you can choose two- or three-finger swipe to "navigate". So two-finger swipe should work as well when selected.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Go to System Preferences -> Trackpad -> More Gestures
- Change the setting of "Swipe between Pages" to "Scroll left or right with two fingers" or "Scroll left or right with two or three fingers"
- Go to the iTerm window with at least two tabs open
- Swipe left or right with two fingers
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Although the help pages do not specify that two-finger swipe to navigate is supported, such behaviour is fully expected when the system preferences are set to navigate on two finger swipe. Instead, iTerm does not move from one tab to the other.
For me, personally, a three-finger swipe is not possible, since I prefer to use to activate "Three Finger Drag" in System Preferences -> Trackpad -> Point & Click.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
This is iTerm 220.127.116.1110821 on Lion 10.7.0
Please provide any additional information below.
I hope this is easy enough to implement. I'm wary to send feature requests since iTerm is already so well featured, but the swipe between tabs is really handy, and should work with two as well as three fingers.
