Able to move tabs/pans between different instances of iterm

Summary

Let's imagine you have two instances of iTerm (it's not necessarily something I like, but a script I use opens a new instance of iTerm when running; I need to investigate why). In the meantime, you can't move a tab or a pane between them. It would be great to be able to move panes and tabs between different instances.

Alternatives

Being able to block creating new instance of iterm and only open a new window with the same instance then.
