Bug report
Thanks for filing an issue! Please answer the questions below so I can help you.
- iTerm2 version: Build 3.5.0beta13
- OS version: macOS Sonoma Public Beta RC 2 14.0 (23A344)com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
- Attach
~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
here (drag-drop from finder into this window) - Attach a debug log, if possible.
- Attach a screen capture video if it would make the reproduction steps clearer.
PLEASE ATTACH YOUR PLIST FILE FOR BUG REPORTS! Seriously! I'll probably ask you for it if you don’t.
Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
- Upgrade to Build 3.5.0beta13
- Open iTerm2
- See it crash
- Open it again
- See it open fine for some reason
- View the extremely dim colors in the terminal.
- Try to change the colors by going to Profiles
- See it crash.
- Re-open iTerm2
- Try to open a new shell window
- Shell window is blank for some reason, but the restored session is fine.
(this is supposed to be funny/tongue-in-cheek, BTW, not intended to be a dig at the fine work you have done for the community all these years)
I attempted to create a debuglog but neither the menu item nor setting the "start logging on iTerm startup" option generated one.
Totally get it if you just want to close the issue because you already know iTerm built with Xcode 15 is wonky. Reporting here in case you hadn't seen these.
