Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Right-click a file or folder in Finder
- Select "Services", then either "New iTerm Tab Here" or "New iTerm Window Here"
- Type
echo $ZDOTDIRin the resulting zsh
What happened:
Output is /Applications/iTerm.app/Contents.
No customizations are run from the user's .zshenv, .zprofile, .zshrc, or .zlogin files
What should have happened:
Output should be blank unless the user has changed it somewhere else Aliases, environment variables, etc., are set from user's zsh startup files
