Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
- I have no clue to be honest...other than it always happens in relation to an attempt to re-focus iTerm2 after using switching to another application. I can't determine if there's any particular set/list of applications that trigger it but I'm generally editing code in vim within iTerm2 and need to jump to Slack, Teams, Tower, AraxisMerge, or Chrome.
What happened
I'll be working fine for some period of time, then either change focus within iTerm2 or try to return to iTerm2 from another application and a) the window won't focus, b) the keyboard is completely locked out. Note that this is true only for iTerm2, all other applications continue accepting focus and keyboard events without issue.
I have to force quit iTerm2 to get it to exit (quit etc. don't work). When I restart I get individual tabs for the various windows/panes I had open. Generally I find it's faster to kill them all and just start over.
What should have happened
iTerm2 should accept focus and continue processing keyboard events without delay or locking up.
