Auto theme changing

Summary

I would like iTerm to take my system theme into account. I like my theme to change based on the time of day, so I use macOS's Auto mode. What I want is for iTerm to register this(maybe an option in settings) and to change the theme when my system theme changes.

Also, don't restrict us to Minimal, Light or Dark. What about Minimal Dark? I like minimal, but this would also need to change for the above feature to be good.

Alternatives

Are there other ways of accomplishing the same end? Why is this solution superior? For example, would it make more sense for this to use the Python API?

Don't think so, but I don't know much about the Python API. I feel like this should be built-in though.
