Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
1. SSH to a raspberry pi 4 on my local network (with tmux 3.3a-3 Debian package installed).
2. Attempt to launch tmux control mode via `tmux -CC new -A -s main`.
What happened:
Sometimes this works (~50% of the time) and the tmux window launches and sometimes it doesn't and I'm just stuck with the "** tmux mode started **" and Command Menu in the original SSH window but no tmux window launches (the tmux dashboard is empty and unresponsive as well). I try esc and X to detach, but the original SSH window seems borked, so I close it and start over again.
What should have happened:
The tmux window launches 100% of the time on all the other remote servers that I SSH to (including servers running tmux 2.6 and 3.3).
I'm not really sure how to debug this as I've tried various config option changes and done extensive Googling, and I'm still stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have developed various superstitions about how to control the probability of it happening, but I think they're all wrong. ;)https://gitlab.com/gnachman/iterm2/-/issues/11169Add an option to use the highlight colour set in System Settings as the curso...2023-10-21T12:03:04ZsirburpalotAdd an option to use the highlight colour set in System Settings as the cursor colourSince Sonoma, the colour of the keyboard cursor in native macOS apps matches the highlight colour set in System Settings. ## Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
1. Synchronize preferences using iCloud.
2. Load iTerm and set the default profile to use a new font. In case I am setting it to `MesloLGSDZNerdFontCompleteM-Regular 11` (per the plist file).
3. Quit iTerm.
4. Load iTerm on another mac. The font is installed on both systems.
5. Quit iTerm.
6. Go back to the first system. The font frequently reverts to Meslo.
## What happened
Font settings revert to Meslo instead of using the font I specified in the preferences.
## What should have happened
It should stay with the font I choose.

What is the feature you'd like to request?
Currently, If I accidentally click on close button on individual session tab, it will close that immediately. Need an option to show confirmation message window while closing the individual tab as well.
## Alternatives
Are there other ways of accomplishing the same end? Why is this solution superior? For example, would it make more sense for this to use the Python API?

## Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
I do not have steps to reproduce unfortunately, it just randomly happens. Possibly only when connected to a remote server and using tmux
## What happened
Sometimes (happened twice in the last couple of hours) the entire UI of iTerm2 will stop responding to inputs. Menus won't open, clicks do nothing, typing does nothing. The terminal does update when output is produced. Right clicking the dock icon shows a menu but clicking quit does nothing. The one way I have found to resolve this when it happens is to force quit the app and restart. I think this may only happen when I am remote connected to a server and running tmux but I'm not positive of that.
In a couple of cases the UI of iTerm2 will be displaying as if there are two panes, the one I expect shifted to the left with a second terminal displaying on the right side of about 10% of the screen width. In the case this morning the second terminal was one from a different window.
## What should have happened
iTerm2 should have continued to respond to input.

1. ssh to my server using [eternal terminal](https://eternalterminal.dev/)
2. tmux -CC attach
3. use for a few weeks
What happened:
The memory usage slowly builds up and after a few weeks I end up with 4.6GB memory usage as shown in Activity Monitor, or if I click the "i" icon, 160MB real, 398GB(!!) virtual, 179MB shared, 76MB private.
What should have happened:

## Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
0. (maybe not necessary, but) I have "Always Accept First Mouse Event on terminal windows" set to Yes
1. Have an iterm window open with multiple panes
2. Swap to another space and then swap back
3. Within the first couple seconds, try to select one of the other panes.
4. So long as you don't move the mouse after the first couple seconds on the new space, the erroneous behaviour will continue.
## What happened
The pane does not gain focus.
Items that should respond to click events do not.
Text IS sometimes highlighted, but the text seems to be almost random, or not following any pattern I can detect - so Iterm2 is capturing the click event in some way, but not correctly.
You may continue selecting the pane for as long as you wish so long as you don't move the mouse too far across the screen after a certain time, which will highlight items in the pane but not switch focus or otherwise respond to the click events. (I clicked in the same spot for ten seconds and failed to get any response from Iterm2 aside from adding and removing highlighting on text)
Waiting several seconds and then moving the mouse around will restore the normal mouse behaviour
## What should have happened
The focus should have switched to the new pane

## Summary
The ability to quickly search and switch to tab based on its title.
After pressing a keyboard shortcut, a floating text input is shown. You can start typing and you will get a sorted list of matches to all tabs that have a name. Pressing ENTER will switch to the closest match.
## Alternatives
One could navigate with meta-NUMBER, but people can have more than 10 tabs. Also, it gets a little hard to remember if certain project was in meta-8 or 7.
About using the Python API: I failed to find a way to display a search control (a window with an input and a button, at the least).
## Concerns
I don't see any major concerns. I've never done any MacOS programming, but if there are any parts of the code that I can use as an inspiration to achieve this I could give it a try.

## Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
I'm making extensive use of the tmux integration lately, to access a remote machine over a moderately high-latency connection. My ssh-tmux script looks like this:
```bash
#!/bin/sh
exec ssh -t "$@" -- tmux -CC new -As0
```
1. Use ssh-tmux to connect to a remote over a high-latency connection (somewhere on another continent).
2. Press Command-T to open a new tab.
3. Begin typing the command that will be run in the new tab.
## What happened
If you do this quickly, the input goes to the old tab before the new tab opens.
## What should have happened
Input after Command-T was pressed should have been buffered until the tab was opened.
Thanks for all your hard work on iTerm2!

## Detailed steps to reproduce the problem
1. Focus on any other application than iterm2
2. Hit the hot key to show the floating window
3. Hit Alfred hot key, and the iterm2 floating window disappears. But if the iterm2 is previously focused before the floating window shows up, it all functions well. Alfred is in the standard mode using a non-activating panel.
## What happened
The iterm2 hotkey window disappears when Alfred panel shows up.
## What should have happened
The iterm2 hotkey window should always be there.
