Installing Gitter on premises along with on premises hosted Gitlab

I understand Gitter is an open source project by Gitlab

I am already running Gitlab community edition for my personal gaming projects, is it possible for me to host gitter along with it, so that fellow committers can have chat ?

I was unable to search and find any such document or instructions, if few points can be shared about same, it will be a great tool
