Tray icon on Ubuntu 18 is only visible after locking and signing back in
Tray icon on Ubuntu 18.04 is only visible after locking and signing back in. This might be an issue with NW.js itself or the switch Ubuntu made from Unity to GNOME
Reproduction steps:
- Start the app
- Notice no tray icon in the top-right
- Lock and sign out
- Sign back in and notice the tray icon is now visible
For reference, this is what the tray menu looks like on Ubuntu 18
As a note, the beta Slack app has no problems with the tray icon
