Date 📆
Sun 2022-06-26 to Fri 2022-07-01
Everyone will receive a calendar invite.
Agenda 🗒
Hackathon 💻
The Verify Hackathon is a week-long opportunity for Verify team members across departments to collaborate on initiatives together. The intent is to inspire creativity and encourage collaboration amongst those you may not have the opportunity to work with on a regular basis, set aside regular milestone deliverables for the week, and have some fun with tackling different challenges
Contribute ideas or join one! See the list of pitches.
Product AMA (TBD) ❔
- Watch the recent PMM/PM sync - TBD
- Add questions to the TBD issue. Sync sessions to be scheduled if there's sufficient questions / engagement!
Random Coffees ☕
- Join #s_verify-random-coffee on Slack and have the bot pair you with another team member in the stage, to schedule a random coffee during the Team Week! Be sure to join by Friday June 23rd!
WIP (Still being planned)
Verify Team Awards 🏆
After the team week, there'll be some awards to give out. They're all scoped to the team week and all in the spirit of fun. We may have prizes too! Though we can't promise they'll be any good.
We'll open up a few of these to a vote after the hackathon. For now, keep them in mind and good luck!

FAQ ⁉
Is it Mandatory?
While none of the activities are mandatory, it is strongly encouraged you participate in the Hackathon, and optionally join some social activities, as we're encouraging as much cross-stage collaboration as possible. If you will not be participating, you can continue working on your team's deliverables for that milestone.
Will I be assigned a specific task for the Hackathon?
Nope, anyone in the stage can contribute an idea! Pitches from all Verify team members are welcome. Similarly, everyone is free to join the initiative(s) that they are most interested in contributing towards.
Will we be collaborating with those outside the stage?
While there's nothing stopping you from doing so, it might be difficult to align timelines and any dependencies. If you need something from another stage, you could consider doing some pre-planning prior to the start of the Hackathon.
Are we still getting swag?!
