The 5 gears
- 1st gear - Recharge mode, your alone time with full disconnect from work
- 2nd gear - Connect mode, being present with your family. No work.
- 3rd gear - Social mode, 1:1s, meetings, Group Conversations.
- 4th gear - Task mode, multitasking. Working in various ways. Can shift easily.
- 5th gear - Focus mode, interruption will cost a high restart. Likely working on just one initiative.

- Cross shifting gears is unproductive, e.g. 2nd to 5th. A disturbance in the 5th gear is detrimental and requires startup time.
