CNG-mirror Container Registry doesn't cleanup container images

Why this ticket?

While working on the review apps investigation, I've noticed that the CNG-mirror container registry cannot clean up older images:

Things I am unsure of

  • Is the container registry (specifically its cleanup) managed by the EP team, or another team?
  • I am unsure of the importance of that problem 😆
  • It might be a (small) performance hit if the registry gets bigger when pushing/pulling images, but I did not verify that claim.
