Rename JS SDK to Browser SDK
Problem
JavaScript/TypeScript can be used both in the Browser and on a Server (via NodeJS). Our current "Javascript SDK" only allows for tracking via the Browser (not a Server). Calling it Browser SDK will help differentiate it from a JS server SDK (Node.js SDK) which we plan to build in the future.
Proposal
Rename current JS SDK from gl-application-sdk-js
to (see https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/analytics-section/product-analytics/gl-application-sdk-js) gl-application-sdk-browser
Update all documents to reflect this change (see https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/analytics-section/product-analytics/gl-application-sdk-js/-/tree/main/packages/js-sdk).
Result
-
SDK repo is renamed -
Published SDK is renamed -
All documents are updated to reflect this change -
Tested to ensure name change is not affecting existing functionality
Next steps (if any)
