Mattermost 3.0 for GitLab 8.8

FYI, opening a ticket to discuss Mattermost v3.0 for GitLab 8.8.

It's a major release and we're fixing some final issues reported by our community. We'll soon push 3.0.2, which will be available via wget https://releases.mattermost.com/3.0.2/mattermost-team-3.0.2-linux-amd64.tar.gz

If you're replacing the binary file manually (instead of uncompressing the tar.gz) the localization string files en.json, es.json, 'fr.json ' and pt.json in the /i18n and /web/static/i18n directories would need to be updated from the tar.gz and jp.json added for new Japanese support.

I'll reply back when we have finished testing the 3.0.2 release.
