How long will Mattermost Upgrade MRs be merged into Omnibus GitLab?

Dear community,

we read in the Mattermost forum that GitLab SSO will be deprecated in the Mattermost Team Edition in v11. Security releases will be delivered for another year for v10.11 until August 2026.

We are wondering now for how long will Mattermost Upgrade MRs like !8703 (merged) be merged into Omnibus GitLab for v10.11?

Will the Omnibus GitLab continue to bundle Mattermost at this point in time and for how long?

Is there a roadmap or deprecation or removal notice somewhere so that users can plan ahead?
